We’ve Started the next project, now that most of the Grocery Store is complete. The project began with the construction of the Village Church model by Dapol. The hill on which the church will reside has also been constructed out of Styrofoam and plaster cloth. There will be a cemetery, Christmas Tree, Fence and landscaping which are yet to come.

The Church has now been painted and extensive landscaping around the church is progressing quite well. We’ve been having difficulty with the Woodland Scenics trees that are being installed on the hill behind the Church. White glue is no good at keeping the folliage on the trees. I admit that I am unwiling to get the special Woodland Scenics glue that is recommended. I am using the glue gun on the the low temperature setting to fill in the trees. I haven’t been too happy with the look. Using high temperature glue is not a good idea as the armatures will melt from the heat of the glue.
There are still a few projects to complete in this scene including people, lights nd the churchyard itself.
