UPDATE 1 – 31 Jan 2012:

Work has begun in earnest on the Highland Loop. This is a loop that will travel at height around the village. It will involve a bridge, several hills and a viaduct. I have word that the bridge should be arriving shortly and that news has been the impetus for getting to work on some of the hills. The two of us hace spent some time over the weekend getting the contours cut into styrofoam which helped to visualise the gradient and the placement of the stone that will make up the cliffs. One of the more fun projects is making the stone insome Woodland Scenics plaster molds. Which, whilst they are still somewhat wet are attached to the still wet plaster cloth and then the edges are filled with leftover plaster and sulpt-a-mold.
